The other end of the dock

15:30 Dry, very warm & sunny, 20 o C. Wind WNW 10mph. Humidity 55%. Pressure 1020mB. Visibility very good. High tide today 13:04 8.69m.

The mute swans were initially around the boats on the marina today, being fed by a boater, before settling down in their usual spot. Quite a few juvenile gulls around of various shades, to confuse the eye and make identification harder.

It's amazing any of the coot chicks survive being reared in a nest like this, especially with all the black-backs around

The terns put in an appearance around 16:00, flying up from the direction of the lock.
